Happy New Year!!!

Happy New Year Everyone!

I have one New Year's tradition that I love to keep, and that is to do a reading for myself the coming year. I generally try to do it with friends on New Year's eve, but this year both myself and my husband were terribly sick, as was one of the friends I enjoy doing readings with. Sadly I was on my own for this one! I write down the outcome of the reading and post it on the bulletin board above my computer desk and refer to it for the rest of the year. I find this reading to be uncannily accurate. As I noted earlier, my father passed away in September, and for September of 2013, I had pulled the death card.

I originally saw this reading spread on the Tarot Passages website, and I have modified it slightly for my own use. If you'd like to try it out, here it is:

I lay the cards out left to right, reading that way as well.
If I had pulled the cards on NYE, the Current Year would be 2013, so that's the way I would play it 2 days later.

The spread also allows you to look ahead a few years as well. I like to save each year's layout and compare notes!

I hope you enjoy the spread and will want to try it for yourself!

This layout looks amazing ... and I'm the tiniest bit confused. This one seems to have "current year" at the top left, and continue through "current year plus 3" at the bottom right. It makes sense to me that "current year" would be as of Dec 31 2013 and thus 2013, and it seems clear that the "year ahead spread" would make the 4 seasons and the Jan-Dec cards all for 2014. But somewhere else I think I saw you speak of using 2012-2015 rather than the 2013-2016 you suggest here. And I wonder, if I did this spread in, say, March, would I use 2014-2017?

Once upon a time my mother, when asked if there was a Santa Claus, answered: "Yes, and those who do not believe in him do not bring gifts." My adult children still believe in Santa Claus. And I, in truth, too. Judging by the mountain of gifts under the tree every year, it really is!

I read your article and I think this is very informative for us. God created this word and everything he makes so beautifully. Feminine Divine is also similar to that. Many things are based on it. The God of your own distinct understanding of the universe and all thing. You did a very good job. Thank you!

It's a great New Year's tradition. I have some traditions too! Do you want me to tell you about them?
